Sole Engineer - Tugboat - 2 weeks - United Kingdom

We urgently require an experienced Sole Engineer for a short-term assignment aboard a UK-based tugboat. The role is for UK operations with an embarkation date of 9 November 2026 and the successful candidate will take immediate responsibility for engineering duties on board.

The assignment is for 2 weeks with a daily rate of GBP 260. This is a single short-term engagement for someone able to step on board and work independently.

Candidates must have demonstrable Sole Engineer experience; tugboat or multicat background is preferred. Required certifications include AEC1, AEC2, STCW and a valid ENG1, and candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Strong fault-finding and hands-on engineering skills are essential.
