Single Engineer - general cargo vessel - ASAP

We have an urgent short-term vacancy for a Single Engineer on a Finnish general cargo vessel equipped with a WÄRTSILÄ 6L26A main engine. The role involves engine-room responsibilities with motorman support and is intended for an experienced Single Engineer.

The assignment is approximately 2-3 weeks and is paid on an ON/OFF basis (for example 15 days onboard plus 15 days paid leave equals a full monthly salary). Gross pay is EUR 5,600 to 5,700 per month; Finnish tax is typically around 20-25% depending on the individual Finnish tax card. Joining is required ASAP.

Candidates must hold a valid Finnish endorsement and a Chief Engineer CoC up to 3,000 kW (STCW III/3 or STCW II/3). Previous Single Engineer experience is preferred. Good English communication skills and EU citizenship are required.
