Second Engineer | LNG | in 7 days

We invite applications for the Second Engineer position on an LNG carrier built in 2017 (133 948 GRT) with main engine Wärtsilä W34DF, 23 910 HP. The vessel is operated in the Asia region and crewing is handled by Latvia - Crewplanet.

The assignment is a 4 month contract. Monthly remuneration is stated at 14 000 - 18 000 USD. Candidates must be available to join in 7 days.

Applicants must have at least 2 years in rank on LNG vessels, DFDE experience with Wärtsilä training, and XDF experience with WinGD UNIC-DF and Wärtsilä W34DF training. Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines, auxiliary machinery, cargo-related systems, and gas carrier safety is required. Familiarity with PMS, ISM Code, and planned maintenance systems is essential, and candidates must hold valid STCW certification and all mandatory licenses for the rank.
