Second Engineer | Container Ship | in 2 weeks

We invite qualified 2nd Engineers to join a container ship operated under Crewplanet crewing. The vessel is a 2008-built container ship of 26 638 GRT with a Sulzer 7RTA72U-B main engine rated at 29 322 HP. The shipowner is based in Germany and the crew mix is international. We expect embarkation in 2 weeks.

The contract is 4 months with a monthly salary between 7 900 and 8 256 USD. Benefits include monthly seniority bonuses (2 years in rank: +150 USD, 3 years: +250 USD, 4+ years: +350 USD), a re-joining bonus of 500 USD (total potential re-joining bonus per contract up to 2 000 USD), paid travel to and from the vessel, full health insurance for the contract period, onboard internet access, and access to in-house simulators for advanced technical training.

Candidates must hold a valid STCW III/2 2nd Engineer license, have proven experience on container vessels with at least 12 months in rank, demonstrate good spoken and written English, and possess a valid medical certificate plus all mandatory STCW documents. Crewing is handled from Latvia by Crewplanet.
