Chief Mate | Ro-Ro | in 5 weeks

We invite applications for the position of Chief Mate for assignment on a modern Ro-Ro/Cargo vessel built 2025 with 25 619 GRT, main engines 2 x Wärtsilä 6L46F (9 792 HP). The vessel is managed from Italy and crewed via Latvia and Crewplanet. We expect embarkation in about 5 weeks.

We offer a 2-month contract with a 1-month +/- allowance. Salary is 5 500 - 6 000 EUR per month (net) with an additional 500 EUR monthly bonus stated for the advertised package. This is a long-term rotation role on a newly built vessel within the Italy region and operated for an EU-flagged owner.

Candidates must have proven experience in the rank on similar Ro-Ro/Cargo tonnage, valid STCW certificates and a good command of English at upper-intermediate level. There are no nationality restrictions for applicants.
