We represent a notable Dutch shipowner and invite applications for the Chief Engineer position on an oil/chemical tanker built in 2013 (11 733 GRT). The vessel is powered by a Mitsubishi-Akasaka 6UEC43LSII main engine (8 473 HP) and operates worldwide under a mixed-crew model. We are recruiting through Crewplanet with crewing support from Latvia.
The assignment is a 4 month contract with a salary between 12 500 and 14 000 USD. The company offers a personal saving fund, a joining bonus of 20 000 USD (withdrawable after 5 years of service), seniority bonuses, and family health insurance after two contracts. The owner operates a fleet of 28 vessels.
Candidates must hold proven tanker experience in the rank of Chief Engineer, have FRAMO pump systems experience, and preferably experience with similar DWT and main engine types. Upper-intermediate English is required. Mixed-crew experience and valid visas are advantageous. We welcome reliable candidates with loyalty to the company.
