We invite applications for the Chief Cook position on board a 2013-built bulk carrier (32 795 GRT, MAN-B&W 6S50MC-C8, 10 959 HP) managed with mixed nationalities and crewing via Latvia and Crewplanet. Planned embarkation is in Turkey on 2026-10-20 and candidates should note the vessel may operate in a designated warlike zone with an additional USD 2,000 bonus for service in that zone.
The assignment is a 2-month contract with a monthly salary of USD 3,900. Sign-on is indicated as in 7 days; please confirm your exact availability when applying.
Candidates must have relevant seagoing cooking experience, be able to prepare a variety of European dishes, maintain high standards of hygiene and galley cleanliness, plan and prepare meals for the crew, and work well within the shipboard team.
