Third Officer | Oil/chemical tanker | 2026-11-09

We invite applications for the position of Third Officer to join our Oil/Chemical Tanker fleet operating in the North Sea and Mediterranean. The vessel is an Oil/Chemical Tanker (IMO II/III) built in 2018, 8 860 GRT, stainless steel tanks handling cargoes such as Phenol, Caustic Soda and Acrylonitrile. Main engine: MAN-BW 6S35ME-B9, 5 671 HP. Shipowner: Netherlands. Crewing: Latvia, Crewplanet.

Contract and compensation: Standard contract is 3 months with a possible 1-month extension. Salary indicated as 4 300 USD and a competitive USD package will be discussed during interview.

Candidate profile: Applicants must hold STCW certificates appropriate to the rank and Advanced Oil & Chemical Tanker Endorsements (STCW V/1-1). We require at least 6 months experience as Third Officer on oil/chemical tankers and proven stainless steel tanker experience. Good command of English is required. A valid MLC-compliant medical fitness certificate is mandatory. Experience with Phenol and other sensitive chemical cargoes is an advantage.
