Second Engineer | Oil/chemical tanker | in 5 weeks

We invite an experienced Second Engineer to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The vessel was built in 2006, 5 303 GRT, with main engine MAN-B&W 6L35MC rated 5 304 HP. The ship operates worldwide and the crewing is handled from Latvia; the shipowner is based in Denmark.

We offer a 4-month contract with an offered salary of 12 200 USD per month. Expected sign-on is in approximately 5 weeks while the exact joining date can be agreed. Onboard conditions are professional and we provide a working environment suitable for long-term cooperation.

Applicants must hold a valid Second Engineer CoC, STCW and medical certificates, and have prior experience on oil/chemical tankers. Strong technical knowledge of main and auxiliary machinery, familiarity with planned maintenance systems, and a good command of English are required. Candidates should be responsible, safety-conscious and able to work well within a team.
