Second Engineer | Container Ship | 2026-11-15

We are offering a Second Engineer position on a container ship built in 2020 with 17 950 GRT and a MAN B&W ME main engine rated at 20 000 HP. The ship is owned by an Israeli shipowner, crewed through Latvia and Crewplanet, and operates worldwide with a multinational crew.

The assignment is a 4 month contract with a basic salary of USD 7,500 - 8,300 per month. Planned joining date is 2026-11-15. Seniority bonuses (rank seniority, per month): 1 year - USD 200 | 2 years - USD 300 | 3 years - USD 400 | 4 years - USD 500 | 5 years - USD 550 | 6 years - USD 600 | 7 years - USD 650 | 8 years - USD 700 | 9 years - USD 750 | 10 years - USD 750 | 11+ years - USD 800. Company seniority bonuses (per month): 1 year - USD 150 | 2 years - USD 200 | 3 years - USD 300 | 4 years - USD 330 | 5 years - USD 400 | 6 years - USD 450 | 7 years - USD 500 | 8 years - USD 550 | 9 years - USD 600 | 10 years - USD 650 | 11 years - USD 700 | 12 years - USD 750 | 13 years - USD 800 | 14+ years - USD 850. Both bonuses are paid separately in addition to the basic monthly salary, based on qualifying years of service in rank and with the company.
