Second Engineer | Bulk Carrier | in 2 weeks

Second Engineer position for a bulk carrier built in 2011 with 21 072 GRT and a MAN - B&W 6S46MC-C main engine (9 052 HP). The vessel trades in Europe and Asia and is crewed via Latvia and Crewplanet for a Greek shipowner. Expected sign-on is in approximately two weeks.

This is a 5 m contract with a salary range of 7 800 - 8 000 USD per month.

Candidates must have at least two contracts served as 2/Eng on similar vessels, be familiar with engine room operations, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and be competent in IMO regulations, safety standards and PSC procedures.
