Chief Mate | Bulk Carrier | in 3 weeks

We offer a Chief Mate position on a 2015-built bulk carrier (34 619 GRT) managed by a Greek shipowner and crewed via Latvia and Crewplanet. The vessel is fitted with a MAN B&W 6S50ME-B9 main engine and operates in America and Asia.

Salary and contract details: Monthly salary USD 7 500 - 7 900 depending on experience. Contract approximately 5 months with a possible 1 month variation. Expected sign-on in 3 weeks.

Candidate profile and requirements: Candidates must have prior service as Chief Officer on bulk carriers and proven experience on geared vessels. Valid STCW certificates and Flag State endorsements are required. A good command of English is expected. A PEME issued by a P&I American Club approved medical center is mandatory. For Russian applicants a non-Russian bank account is required for salary payments.
