Barge Master * Offshore Accommodation Barge

We invite qualified candidates to join us as Barge Master on an offshore accommodation barge assigned to projects across the Netherlands and wider Europe. This role requires leadership of barge operations, oversight of mooring and unmooring procedures, and coordination with tugs and pilots during manoeuvres.

The assignment runs from 2026-11-02 to 2026-12-16 with a rotation pattern of 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off and operates in Netherlands and Europe. Nationality requirement: EU nationals only.

Candidates must demonstrate experience with 8-point mooring systems, support for cable-laying operations, scrap removal and demolition activities on barges, and familiarity with maintenance and crewing management systems. The role also requires the ability to prepare and execute mooring and unmooring plans and to coordinate towing and pilotage operations. Required certificates include Seaman's Book (Flag State recognised), STCW Basic Safety Training (VI/1), STCW Advanced Fire Fighting (VI/3), STCW Medical First Aid (VI/4-1), STCW Medical Care (VI/4-2), Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (VI/2), a valid Medical Fitness Certificate, and a valid Certificate of Competency (CoC).
