Second Engineer | Oil/chemical tanker | in 5 weeks

We are offering a Second Engineer position on an oil/chemical tanker built in 2013 with a GT of 11 733. The vessel is driven by a Mitsubishi-Akasaka 6UEC43LSII main engine rated at 8 473 HP and operates worldwide. Crewing is handled by Latvia and Crewplanet for a Netherlands shipowner, and the ship currently sails with mixed nationalities.

The assignment is a 4 month contract with a salary range of 10 000 - 12 000 USD. Sign-on is expected in 5 weeks and the vessel offers very good conditions of work.

Applicants must have fine spoken and written English (level: Intermediate), experience on vessels of similar DWT and kW, and prior experience working with mixed crews. Possession of relevant visas would be an advantage. Promotion opportunities are available.
